I had a hysterectomy in 1996 and Richard was my surgeon - all these years later I remember this wonderful man who diagnosed my serious conduction and operated quickly - I had total confidence in him and my surgery and after care was perfect. He is a Dr that very much cares about his patients and I believe he changed my life. A brilliant Dr and I believe he is definitely one of the best .

I would definitely recommend Mr. Richard Slade, he has the knowledge and the skills that none of the other gynaecologists I saw had, he cares about his patients and what he does, he knows just what to do and how to do it, he makes time for patients, even on a Sunday morning! and leaves nothing to chance, and even though I am quite an anxious person, he really put me at ease, my husband and I knew immediately that he was the only choice. There are some really great consultants around but I think Mr Slade is one of the best. I had quite a big operation and had been told by other gynaecologists, my life was going to be very different and I was not going to be able to do a lot of things anymore, most importantly riding my bike! But Mr Slade and his excellent skill set, took it all in his stride, he wasn't worried about doing my op, so I wasn't worried about him doing it, None of the things I had previously been told would happen happened! Everything that Mr Slade said would happen did, he told me to let him worry about things, I did.. I followed all instructions and I was riding in no time, gardening, playing with the grandchildren, love and life is good. I think myself very lucky to have found him, I would not see anyone else,. If you need a surgeon that can do it, with no drama Mr Richard Slade is a great choice. Thank you Mr Slade.
