Mr Amro Hassaan was very kind and professional. Eager, patient, paying to listen every little detail. He had me to all possible tests in order for him explore all possible causes of my situation. Then he took the time to explain analytically everything in a very simple way. Overall, he seems to be a perfectionist and to love his job. I think he is great doctor/ a healer that cares a lot for his patients. Thank you.

25th December 2014

On Friday 12 December my husband fell heavily at home and sustained serious injury to his head and ear. An ambulance took us to the A&E Department of UCH. My husband was examined by a nurse who professionally cleaned the affected area and subsequently he was examined by the doctor on call who arranged a scan to the head. He was then examined by an ENT surgeon Mr Amro Hassaan. As my husband had sustained a significant ear and scalp laceration it was decided to operate the same evening. My husband was in the operating theatre for three hours. Although it was after midnight when my husband was taken to the recovery room Mr Hassaan spent time to reassure me and explain to me very patiently and with the help of a diagram and in a layman language the procedure of reconstructing the outer ear and how he managed to proximate the wound on the scalp. My husband spent two days at the hospital and was examined by Mr Hassan before he was discharged Since then my husband has seen Mr Hassaan at his outpatient clinic where 27 suturing were removed. May I add how fortunate we were to be treated with such professionalism by the ambulance staff, by an extremely busy A&E department by the nurses and the doctors. It was a Friday night and the demand on the staff was extremely high yet they managed to be kind to us comforting and polite.
