On the many occasions that I have used the Wellesley Hospital I have always been professionally looked after by the medical, nursing and catering staff. The free car parking is an added bonus.

All of the staff were friendly & efficient. My consultant was very reassuring & skilful. The aftercare & physiotherapy was excellent and help to speed up my recovery.

Very clean and welcoming hospital. All staff put me at ease; from receptionists, to MRI staff, to nurses and doctors and catering staff. During my three-day stay for surgery, all doctors and nurses on duty were attentive and quick to arrive if called. Even though it was a busy weekend, I was made to feel a priority. No question seemed trivial, and they catered for specific needs e.g. bandaging a cannula to reduce my fear. The menu choice was good and the facilities were clean. I needed to call aftercare when I was at home and the call was answered very quickly. The only thing that could be better is attention to detail on paperwork. My sick note had incorrect dates. However, it was resolved quickly once discovered. Overall, a great hospital.

Delays in wound/scar inspection were recovered by the ward staff at the Spire Wellesley following my request to them for advice upon which they sked me to attend the ward one early evening for their review of the wound healing process which was found t be ok. I am not sure that, as an NHS patient, this was within their remit but I would record my appreciation for their assistance.

Everyone I came into contact with during my stay (including the pharmacy team, catering/hostess team, cleaners, porters ) was unfailingly kind and helpful and I am grateful to them for contributing to my stay on the ward.
