I had surgery for breast cancer on 21/12/2020 performed by Mr.Agrawal. During the first consultation after the initial biopsy, Mr Agrawal took a lot of time and care to explain all the details of the results to me and the treatment he recommended. Due to Covid19 situation, I was unable to have anyone else present, but certainly felt I had fully understood the different procedures that were available to me (3 options) and felt confident to choose what I felt was right for me. Before the operation, he was again very concerned that I had fully understood what he was going to do. The surgery went well, I was in little pain by the next morning (no more than expected) and had good mobility in my arm fairly quickly. The scars are healing well and I feel I have had the best possible care I could have had. I had a follow-up discussion with Mr. Agrawal when the biopsy results from the operation were available. They were more complicated than I had hoped, and he guided me through the subsequent treatment options. From the discussion it became clear that he had been conservative and cautious during the operation. I found this most reassuring. Mr Agrawal has now transferred me to an oncologist.

Mr Agrawal has made a huge difference to me in what was initially a very frightening diagnosis. He has been unfailingly kind and has listened to my concerns and preferences throughout. He has shown nothing but patience and genuine care in outlining my options and in my follow up care. My surgery was complex/major (double masectomy with reconstruction) and I have no doubt his skill led to my very swift recovery. Aesthetically I am also pleased with the outcome. As both a man and a surgeon I have no hesitation in recommending him.

A very nice, respectful, dignified man who gives me the right information in the right way. I like to ask questions and he has been extremely patient.

The care & compassion of Mr Agrawal and his entire team throughout my breast cancer surgery and treatment has been way beyond my expectations. Throughout I have been treated as a person with a life who just happens to have breast cancer. The surgery necessary to my breast has been so professional and the outcome is wonderful. You are a giant amongst men Mr Agrawal, thank you

He talked all options through with me thoroughly. Originally I Wanted a different procedure but other health problems precluded this. Mr Agrawal explained this carefully, discussed relative risks etc.. Itook his advice and had a lumpectomy. He was able to remove the entire cancer, while chemo had neutralised a small migration to a lymph node, so this proved all that was necessary to give a good prognosis. The scar is very neat, the shape of my breast is excellent, although a little smaller than before, obviously, but not a problem. He has a lovely manner, discusses things fully with patients, answers all questions fully and honestly, even when it is not what you want to hear.He seems to have time for you as a whole, holistic being and, certainly, in my case, the outcome is much, much better than I imagined was possible.
