I went to Sascha when I found a lump in my breast and as soon as I met her she put my mind at ease, she explained everything thoroughly, honestly and in a manner that I could understand fully. Within days I had a lumpectomy and just a week on my scar is neat, bruising is minimal and I have nearly full mobility back in my arm. Sascha is professional, caring, understanding, so approachable you can ask her any questions without any qualms and the support she gives you is simply above and beyond. Honestly she is just amazing and without her I don't think I would be feeling as strong and positive as I do. I would highly recommend Sascha to everyone and cannot suggest any improvements as the care I received was excellent.

During my annual well woman check my doctor discovered two lumps in my nipple. I phoned the Nuffield Brentwood and managed to get an appointment with Sascha that same night. She is an extremely enthusiatic doctor and I immediately felt I was in the care of a very talented doctor. Luckily my lumps were cysts and I had them drained the same night. I would highly recommend anyone to visit Sascha - you wiill be in the best of hands. I will certainly go back if I have any other concerns.

I went for my 3 yearly mammogram, called back for a biopsy & instead of calcium deposits it was a small cancerous lump. Having had bowel cancer in 2010 I was ignorant enough to think "lightning couldn't strike twice". Wrong! Then I had an appointment with a doctor to discuss the results & future treatment. I then met Sascha! Never before have I met a surgeon with such a fantastic approach to patients & an attitude that so quickly puts your mind at rest. "Different" has been a comment but I think the NHS & private sector could do with more Sascha's. I've now had the lumpectomy with no pain or side effects & am awaiting radiotherapy but with Sascha's support I have no fears whatsoever. Will not have an appointment with her now for 6 months & actually I'll miss her ebullience & I don't think many patients could admit that with a diagnosis of cancer. No improvement Sascha just stay as you are.

One of the best decisions I have made in my life was to go to Broomfield Hospital for my mammogram which, this time, showed the dreaded white spot. From that moment it was all systems go and I came under the care of Ms. Sascha Dua and her breast care team. I was given the option on what procedure I would prefer and I opted for a wide section for the cancer with a reduction on the other breast for symmetry. After the op. Sascha was able to assure me that all had gone well and I was all clear. The surgery was excellent and I experienced no pain and little to no discomfort. Most of all the cancer was gone and I had a new shape, a new body. The whole breast care team at Broomfield from the mammogram nurses, doctors and aftercare nurses have been so caring, cheerful and informative (friends for life) and of course, bubbly Sascha Dua, my team leader, who is so positive, straightforward, kind and a very, very skilled surgeon. As I say, to opt for Broomfield Hospital Breast Care Unit headed by Ms. Sascha Dua was the best decision I have so far made in my life.
