This doctor was absolutely open and candid in his comments and advice, and treated my comments with respect. There was no patronising of me or dismissal of my views or mystification of medical opinions and interventions. While this might seem to what you should expect from all medics, it is rarely the case. His knowledge of chest illnesses and of current best medical responses seemed to me to be up to date.
