Despite initial confusion surrounding the venue of my appointment on Oct 22nd, Dr Wijeyekoon was welcoming and happy to see me face to face. He enquired about my welfare over the past year and after examining my right wrist, offered to refer me for hand therapy and surgery. I refused both of these offers and we agreed that we would assess the situation in a year`s time. Dr Wijeyekoon made me feel valued and was attentive to my views and wishes.

The care I have received from Dr Wijeyekoon over the last nine years has been excellent. After my initial diagnosis he patiently found the best medications for me and has always been very kind and reassuring. I have every confidence in him and this means a great deal to me and I can thoroughly recommend him to other patients.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Wijeyekoon. He made time to see me immediately when his busy schedule was already completely full. He and his colleague, Dr Nitil Kedia, did everything humanly possible to identify the possible source of my symptoms and provide the appropriate treatment. Dr Wijeyekoon was kind, caring and extremely thorough at a time when I was in excruciating pain and at a very low ebb. He explained everything in a clear and precise manner. 5* is a totally inadequate evaluation of these two wonderful doctors.

Initially I was so relieved to get an early appointment, having failed elseware. Most impressive, when my wife and I first met Dr Wijeyekoon, was his immediate reassurance that my Rheumatoid Arthritis, could be resolved, explaining that great progres had been made in the last decade. (I had become very concerned during the previous two weeks when the swelling of my hands and feet had developed and most disturbing was the deterioration in the effective use of my joints for just routine activities). The first treatment prescribed gave immediate relief and after a short while I was encouraged to participate in the Early Arthritis Clinic. I am an optimist by nature so I am hopeful that I will continue to make to good progress over the coming months.

When I went to see Dr Wijeyekoon he was very nice, very patient and took time to listen. After my initial examination he was able to diagnose my problem very quickly and once he had confirmation following further tests, he then prescribed medication that has had a very good result My friend recommended the good doctor to me and said that he was a very nice man and I am pleased to say they were correct, he explained his findings in some detail and took the time to make sure I understood my condition and my medication process.
