As someone who has had execellent health in the past, I was stunned when I suddenly was in need of a cardiologist. I was very blessed to be referred to Dr. Ghuran. From the first moment of introduction, Dr Ghuran put me at ease and I could sense that I was in good care. He took his time to truly listen to me and explain my situation in a manner that respected my personal knowledge but also was clear and understandable. He also directed me to additional resources that I could utilise in order to better understand my condition. He recommended a battery of tests to rule out any underlying complications and I left feeling that "no stone was left un-turned" in order to make a full and complete diagnosis and move onto a treatment plan. My follow-up visit was just as positive as my first. Dr Ghuran again gave me clear explanations and advise, but also allowed me to be part of a "shared decision making" process. I left feeling confident and supported in my decision regarding my treatment plan. Overall, I am extremely happy with the care that I am and have received from Dr Ghuran. He is smart, kind and caring - everything that you would want in a physician. PS - not to overlook the importance of Mrs. Garcia, his assistant. She is a joy to work with as well.

If like me ,at the most vulnerable point in your life ,you find yourself in the capable hands of Dr Azad Ghuran and his manager Alicia Garcia then you can consider yourself extremely fortunate ! That someone is watching out for you! Possibly the only time in my life ( which at this point was on a knife edge) was its control put in the hands of somebody else. I’m forever grateful that luck put it in the exceptional hands of Dr Ghuran. Not only is he thorough, knowledgeable, professional, caring and approachable throughout your journey , but he recognises you as an individual not just another patient. Mrs Garcia was efficient and reassuring throughout the whole arrangement process , while Dr Ghuran’s constant attention, explanation, discussion with family members and attention to detail was nothing short of exemplary! His chair side manner and devotion to his field is almost unique amongst all the consultants whose paths I have crossed and for that reason alone I have no qualms recommending to anyone . Five stars don’t do him justice !! Nothing more to say but without him I probably wouldn’t be here to write this review.

I first saw Mr Azad Ghuran as a private patient at Hatfield One Hospital on 5th March 2024 because of possible Aortic Stenosis. I immediately felt at ease because of his friendly caring manner. This really helped reduce the anxiety I was feeling. He listened carefully to my account of my current symptoms and checked through my previous medical history in great detail. My outstanding impression of Mr Ghuran was of a very thorough and experienced consultant. I was very fortunate to have been referred to him.
