Dr David Uncle is a very courteous man with a very gentle manner. His approach was restful and I was quickly put at ease. He explained every aspect of the procedure and his contribution to it. Overall, a very caring man.

A kind bedside manner and thoroughly explained everything. He totally put me at my ease before my hip operation at Goring Hall hospital.

I was recently under the care of Dr David Uncles for my first ever general anaesthetic.
He made me feel at ease straight away and due to his clear explanation of his role in the operation and his clear answers to my questions helped to ease the tension that I obviously feeling. He came to see me after to see that I was feeling ok and that all was well. I came through the anaesthetic with no problems feeling very well.
I am very appreciative of the care I received at Goring Hall and thank Dr Uncles and all concerned for their professionalism during and after this procedure.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
