I have been working with Dr Uncles over the past few years and have recently transitioned to a new role as a trainee ODP. Dr Uncles has been incredibly helpful in providing me the knowledge and skills I need in order to become a great practitioner. He has always take time out to explain things fully to me in a calm and inviting environment. His manner in which he conducts himself is something I look up to greatly. I see him as big inspiration for me and in my career going forward. Dr Uncles has always offered to go into more depth in areas I might not be completely sure on and always asking how I am getting on in my studies.

I am a first year operating department practitioner student at Goring Hall hospital. Throughout my time at Goring Hall I have had the pleasure of working alongside Dr David Uncles. Being a student I was anxious about stepping into a new role but Dr Uncles put me at ease. He is always happy to answer questions and share knowledge with me. He also actively seeks me out when there are new learning opportunities which I massively appreciate. This benefits my learning and experience and will improve my practice in the future. Dr. Uncles also has a fantastic approach to his patients. He always puts patients first and at ease throughout their time at Goring Hall. Dr Uncles takes the time to talk the patient through each stage of the anaesthetic helping to build trust and reassure them. Dr Uncles post operative care is also excellent and I have joined him on seeing patients post op and his communication skills and dedication to patients is second to none. His work ethic and focus on patients is admirable and a great example to me as a student and I hope to emulate these high standards of care in my practice.

I am a Student Nursing Associate and have been on placement at Goring Hall Hospital, and had the pleasure of working alongside Dr Uncles today in Theatres. Being in a new setting, can be incredibly overwhelming however Dr Uncles was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, professional and acted with compassion and kindness throughout the entire day, not only to his patients, but to his peers and colleagues too. Watching Dr Uncles consult with his patients who were in vulnerable positions before their surgery, highlighted to me his focus on reassuring the patients and keeping patients incredibly well informed, but in a calm and personable manner which put every patient at ease. He went over and above to ensure that I was involved and educated throughout the entire shift with each surgery and each patient. Nothing was too much trouble, and no question went unanswered. His genuine kindness, charming manner and exceptional care was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Uncles and feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work alongside him.

Dr Uncles provided great care during my recent procedure. He has a very calm, reassuring manner and is friendly with it. I was operated on under general anaesthetic and was sent off to sleep very gently. When I woke I had an almost total absence of side effects, and merely felt as if I had had a very deep sleep that took me a little while to wake from fully. I would highly recommend this gentleman.

Dr David Uncles was my anaesthetist during my operation at Goring hall yesterday, he met me prior to going down to theatre he was very reassuring and would happily recommend him
