Dr Stellios Panayiotou administered a spinal anaesthetic prior to my total hip replacement operation at BMI Goring Hall. He took great trouble explaining everything, and was very kind and patient. I felt safe with him and would certainly hope that he was my anaesthetist for any future operation.

Dr. Stellios was terrific. I have a needle phobia, and without me actually telling him, he instinctively knew he needed to generate a distraction which almost worked! Suffice to say he created a stress-free experience and alleviated any anxiety I had in advance of surgery.

Wonderful communication. Clear and explained everything really well. Came to see me after the operation to see how I was feeling. Excellent bedside manner that made me feel so at ease. From the discussion on what the procedure would entail (anaesthetic) to when he did it, to after the event to be sure I felt ok and to ask if there were any concerns or questions from my side. Thank you. We have some wonderful doctors in this country.
