This doctor is a true professional who carries out his work whilst putting his patients at complete ease.
His manner I found to be of someone whose patients wellbeing come first, before anything else.
I don't think I can add anything else, except to say, this anaesthetist is in my opinion, the best of the best.

This is the 1st time I've had an general anaesthetic since I was a child and I found Dr Uncles to be very reassuring and talked me through the whole procedure and put my mind at rest .

I cannot praise Dr Uncles high enough. From start to finish he was the so kind and friendly, he kept me totally calm and I felt so safe in his care. In previous surgeries in my life I have been hysterically crying and scared but not this one with Dr Uncles, I did not cry even one tear. I have nothing to suggest that could make his care better. He is an amazing anaesthetist and person. Thank you for looking after me.

I recently underwent a procedure at Goring Hall Hospital and although I wasn't very concerned; I was naturally a little apprehensive. However, David Uncles, [my Anaesthetist] put all my apprehensive feelings completely out of my mind by his very professional and calm talk we had before the operation in my room; and again just before going into the theatre. He again came to see me the next morning to find out how I managed overnight and gave me details of my procedure. I could at that time also ask for any changes to pain control or ask any questions about the operation. Everything was completely professional and reassuring.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
