David uncles is the best consultant anaesthetist I come across. He put me at ease by answering my concerns.I felt safe in his hands. He was very caring.
Top man.
Introduced him self ( #mynameis )

Surgery when well.
I found Dr Uncles to be totally reassuring gentle and caring.i have had bad experiences with previous operations regarding the placement of the needle in my hand as my veins are very thin. Dr Uncles listened to my concerns and sited the needle elsewhere. He probably will not remember but he attended my daughter 15 years ago when she underwent a crash cesarean. Without his speed and total professionalism I would not have my daughter and wonderful teenage grandson!
Having had many operations, for me anaesthetic is the worst part as I am asthmatic. When Dr Uncles came to see me before my procedure, he could sense immediately how anxious I was about having an anaesthetic. After checking my chest he suggested that perhaps I would consider a spinal injection. This was like an answer to a prayer. Dr Uncles talked me through the injection and I did not feel a thing. Once in the operating theatre he injected a tranquilliser into my arm and the next thing I knew he was waking me up as the operation was over. I was so wide awake with no after-effect that I get with an anaesthetic.and had no problems with my chest. It was amazing. When I was back on the ward Dr Uncles came to visit me to make sure all was well.
I am so grateful to him for his understanding of my anxiety and problem and for making my procedure less worrying. Thank you, Dr Uncles.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
