I have dealt with many asthma nurses and various healthcare trusts over the last 25 years and I have never come across somebody as knowledgeable and caring as Sonia. She truly is an asset and without her help, knowledge and care i would be in a very different place. I met Sonia last sept when I was hospitalised after a severe asthma attack , she put me on different meds, set me up with a prescription emergency care package ( which has never happened before) and she kept in touch via phone appointments in the last 6 months - in short she is conscientious and caring. I contracted COVID before Christmas and I know absolutely for certain that if I hadn’t specifically met Sonia when I did then I would probably be a statistic and not have survived. Pre covid my lung function was the best it has ever been because of Sonia’s knowledge and putting me the right meds , whilst battling COVID my lung capacity dropped by 150 on peak flow, before Sonia that was my normal, I always took my prescribed inhalers and still my asthma wasn’t controlled. With Sonia’s input my peak flow was up to 450 - something that hasn’t happened in decades, so when I got COVID I was able to control it with taking my emergency steroids, prescribed by Sonia and not be hospitalised. Her knowledge and dedication literally has saved my life and I will always be eternally grateful to her and her hard work and dedication.

Sonia was great! I was referred here via my GP for my asthma and she was so nice! Our appointment was over the phone and she listened, was very organised. etc. All the stuff she said she would do- she did. I received the email on my action plan and the information via post in 2 days! Definitely would recommend her .-.

I spoke to Sonia on behalf of my dad to discuss his severe cough for the past 5 months. After speaking to countless doctors for 5 months whom all proved useless, Sonia was the only one that provided her full attention and time to listen and followed with an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. I am extremely thankful for Sonia - she is caring and extremely skilled at being an asthma specialist!

Wow- what a personal review Sonia kindly gave me. I learnt more in this asthma review then in any other. So so knowledgeable in this field. She outlined everything simply and intelligently explaining everything in detail and sets out a plan for you. There are even follow up reviews that are set within my personal plan. My meds were changed during the review, my history notes were taken and a clear explanation as to why this was needed - even a test run on how to administer the new pump. She is even contacting the GP on my behalf to ensure they know what to do!!! Seriously a huge 5 stars. Thank you Sonia
