From the first time that my wife and I met Lorraine immediatley after my diagnosis with prostate cancer in June 2020, we could not have been more impressed. She is very caring, knowledgeable and efficient. She has monitored my treatment every step of the way, and is always available by phone or email. She was never too busy for me. I knew that whatever issue may arise, that she would be there to help me deal with it in a very compassionate and professional way. I trust her absolutely to give me the best advice that there is, while being honest in every way. We are all very fortunate to have people like her in the NHS caring for us.

Lorraine has always been there to help me and my family through difficult times, as well as being superb at organising things administratively in times of CoVid. It would all have been so much more difficult without her. She also manages to do it with a smile on her face (even if it is hidden by a mask). We are very lucky to have her.

My interview with Lorraine was a model of how this should be done. She combined obvious technical and medical expertise with empathy and warmth. By the end I felt informed, reassured and much more at ease with my difficult circumstances. I have total belief in her wish to do everything she can to help me through this process.
