From my first consultation I knew he was the right surgeon for me, extremely thorough, reassuring and knowledgeable, he advised me the best course of surgery for the shape I was looking for.
My surgery was brilliant, I was extremely nervous and I didn’t need to be, everything was explained in detail and my results are amazing, exactly what I asked for.
I returned for my last review and I queried a area I was unsure of, many professionals could of taken it and run, potentially charging for further treatment but not professor Malata , he said he was very satisfied with my results and didn’t feel I needed any more, I trust his judgement
My confidence has grown , I can’t thank him enough,

I have had numerous consultations with Prof Malata dating back since 2013.
I finally went through with the surgery in April 23 for a Breast uplift.
I am more than happy with the results I received!!
Brilliant surgeon, never felt rushed all concerns dealt with.
Great nurses and aftercare.
Couldn’t ask for anything more I will be having further surgeries after a massive weight loss.
He’s fabulous!!! Don’t hesitate this man is a magician

From start to finish my whole experience under the care of Professor Malata for my rhinoplasty was excellent.
He listened and gave an honest explanation of what was achievable. Professor Malata also went through the procedure step by step.
I had regular follow up appointments monitoring my healing and I was also given a contact number if needed, for any emergency support.
The Fitzwilliam Hospital staff were exceptional and spent time and great care ensuring I was comfortable.
I would recommend Professor Malata for plastic/reconstructive surgery as my results have been life changing. I am now comfortable with my side profile and my results are natural and in proportion with my face. People have been complimentary on how natural the surgery is, in fact some people have not noticed unless I explain and point out my nose is no longer hooked.
If you are considering surgery I would 100% recommend you to explore with Professor Malata, as my journey under Professor Malatas care was a positive, supportive and guided experience where my health and wellbeing was at the fore front.

Professor Charles Malata is a British and American trained consultant plastic surgeon specialising in breast augmentation (boob jobs), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose jobs), breast reconstruction after mastectomy (DIEP flap reconstruction), breast reduction, facelift and body contouring after weight loss. He is the most senior reconstructive breast plastic surgeon at the Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrooke's University Hospital, Cambridge and was also voted by his colleagues and peers as one of the top ten breast plastic surgeons in the country. He undertakes the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery both in Cambridge and Peterborough. Professor Malata undertook his general surgical training on the Newcastle & Leeds University Hospital rotations. He underwent plastic surgery training (residency training) at the prestigious and world famous Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow obtaining the Intercollegiate FRCS in Plastic Surgery in 1997. He then took up substantive subspecialty fellowships in breast & cosmetic surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington DC and Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
He is a research professor (visiting professor) at Anglia Ruskin University School of Medicine and lectures both nationally and internationally on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and free flap surgery. He was the President of the European Society for Surgical Research (ESSR) in 2011-2013 and has an active academic and clinical research interest with over 300 publications and currently supervises research projects for PhD & MSc students, registrars and medical students. In addition, he works as an associate editor for Frontiers in Plastic Surgery and is an editorial board member of the European Surgical Research Journal and Gland Surgery Journal. He reviews for multiple professional journals.
