Mr Grant was personable, honest and exceptionally caring from the first consultation. Being a younger patient, he was sure to fully explain every step of the process. He took his time making sure I knew exactly what was happening at every stage. Mr Grant took every opportunity to fully explain the entire procedure to me and my family and frequently checked our understanding. He was careful to include all potential outcomes, positive and negative. There was no stage where we felt alone or unsure about the journey I would be undertaking, and I never felt under any pressure to go ahead with things, should I choose not to. Mr Grant is the ultimate professional, and I feel very fortunate to have been looked after by him and his team, who put me and my welfare at the centre of their efforts. I am 2 weeks post-surgery, and could not be more pleased with the way things are going. I feel so positive about my future now and cannot thank Mr Grant enough.

I saw Mr Grant for extensive surgery to my arm and from first meeting him my worries disappeared. I had surgery and will always be forever grateful to this gentleman and his amazing abilities in complex surgery which gave me back the use of my hand and arm. I trust him 100%, he’s kind, caring and I’d not trust any other surgeon with arm surgery. I highly recommend him to anyone needing complex arm or hand surgery. My recovery was so swift and I needed 2 paracetamol. Some time later the scar which was a few inches long isn’t even visible. I can never thank Mr Grant enough as I have told him.

I met Mr Grant on a bank holiday Monday when he was called out of hours. He was incredibly responsive, kind and had great bedside manner. He made an unpleasant situation easy. Thank you, Cheryl Cowell

We saw Mr Grant this morning regarding my husband’s Dupuytren’s contracture. After explaining the cause (and also what is not responsible) he performed minor surgery. My husband was not expecting the issue to be resolved today and was pleasantly surprised and happy to consent to this. Mr Grant was very friendly, and we did not feel rushed at all during the appointment. We were also provided with an information leaflet regarding Dupuytren’s and a follow-up appointment leaflet explaining who to contact if there are any questions or problems going forward.

Mr Grant performed a dermofasciectomy to correct Dupuytrens on my index finger, with great success. I found him approachable and empathetic whilst still remaining professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. The staff at Cambridge Lea were also excellent.
