I was under the care of Dr.T.Pearsall Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the eye treatment centre @ Whips Cross Hospital in 19th August 2019. I was terrified at the thought of having Cataract removal of the right eye. On the day of the surgery Dr Pearsall was so kind in the theatre - she interacted with me like a friend, putting me at ease, talking and re-assuring me throughout the procedure. She even sang along with me to the music that was playing in the room. This whole experience was so positive for me because of Dr. Pears-all’s kindness and empathy towards her patients, she is a truly dedicated Professional and places her patients first , to the point of foregoing her lunch etc. I have made a remarkable recovery , and will be having the left cataract done in the near future. This time without fear and anxiety that I had for the first eye. May I also mention the rest of your staff at the outpatient and Eye Treatment Centre@ Whipps Cross Hospital every one was kind, empathetic and respectful- the male and female volunteers that severed us tea and biscuits too made such a difference to the entire experience of being in a hospital setting and waiting to have an unknown procedure. We are fortunate to have this excellent N.H.S that provides for us in such a high standard of Professional quality care. Thank you in gratitude. M. Ross

A safe pair of hands! I am not very comfortable in medical settings and the thought of two cataract operations in close succession filled me with dread. I should not have worried. From the very start of my consultation Ms Pearsall put me at my ease. She was very reassuring, clear and ready to answer any questions I had. Most of all she was very calm, which in turn helped me to take the surgery in my stride. She also had a great sense of humour, which she tailored to individual needs. I had decided to treat the surgery as a beauty treatment! Ms Pearsall went along with this and we had a few jokes about it. I felt totally confident in Ms Pearsall. She was professional, caring and very considerate. The follow up was excellent. If I had any questions or worries they were answered fully. Her approach was geared to working with you for the best outcomes. I would be extremely happy to recommend Ms Pearsall, without any hesitation.

I feel very privileged to have had Ms Pearsall as my surgeon last year. She performed two operations on my eyes for glaucoma and also two for cataract removal which I strongly believe have helped to save my eyesight. I was always greeted by her beautiful smile and warm, welcoming personality. She is an outstanding surgeon and a first class professional. The pre- and post-operative care I received from her was unsurpassed. I highly recommend her and I strongly agree with the many good comments I have heard about Ms Pearsall from both the staff and patients in the Eye Treatment Centre.
