Has been responsible for fixing my frozen shoulder at Epsom hospital and overseeing my post op physio at St. Helier hospital. Both Mr Patel and the team that dealt with me were excellent. Result being if not 100% use of shoulder but certainly 98/99% use, something nobody would hsve convinced me was possible at one time. my thanks to everyone involved.

I just wish there would be more stars I could give to him..The injury(monteggia fracture) I got is the rarest injury and people say there is no long term solution for it...The doctor we followed before talking to Mr Vipul Patel was not confident enough and told us that the hand will never going to be normal.We were quite scared , then somebody suggested us to take advice from Mr Ptael. We can't be thankful enough for the person who gave us his reference and we can't we thankful enough to Mr Patel. I must say He proved Doctor's are God on earth. Just after 3 weeks of Operation my hand sowed drastic improvements and now after around 3 months its almost Normal :) Thanks so much Mr Patel , you rock :):).

I had a shoulder replacement in April 15 because of severe arthritis . I was in constant pain with very little movements of the shoulder ,making me dependent on my husband for daily activities . I consulted Mr Patel who was vey understanding he listen to my problem and discussed it and explained me fully that I needed a shoulder replacement . The care and attention I received from him before ,during and after surgery was excellent . I am very please to say that the surgery has been very successful It has improve the quality of my life a great deal . I am now quite independent can get on with my daily activities like dressing up, able to shower without help can get on with my cooking , started driving again etc. I am extremely satisfied with the excellent care I received from Mr. Patel

From 2007 I had increasing discomfort then pain in my right elbow from sitting hours and hours working in front of the computer. By spring 2013 I was seriously disabled. My excellent GP got me an early appointment with Mr Vipul Patel. He saw me promptly and listened to my story asking questions as I went along. Then he examined me thoroughly. He explained that it was probably quite serious damage to the biceps tendon and I had to have an MRI. Since I have a pacemaker this was quite complicated but he fixed it for me at St Helier Hosp with Mr Richard Norcliffe in charge and a Cardiologist there in case anything went wrong. Fantastic care. He saw me again within a few days and showed me on the MRI how the tendon was close to having 'rotted' through. He repaired it beautifully with Dr Sandy Kidd giving me the anaesthetic just right. He arranged the physio for me and went on seeing me until it was all healed up. Thanks to his fantastic care it is has been absolutely fine for a long time now and I can just about do anything. First class job in every way.
