I had a very private matter and unfortunately I felt I was not taken seriously by my GP. I went to see Dr Shatkar and he examined me and was able to identify the issue immediately. After a couple sessions, my problem had cleared up and I was discharged. I felt comfortable the whole time and I was glad I was seen to so efficiently. Thank you.

I had emergency bowel surgery last November and Mr Shatkar said I had made an excellent recovery and has discharged me. I would not be here today without the professionalism of his team. Mr Shatkar listens and is very reassuring.

I was impressed by how the doctor went into detailed explanation of what the problem was, and the plan of treatment he thought would be of most benefit. The whole process of initial consultation and treatment was explained fully all the way through, and the care given at the hospital was excellent. I was put at ease at all times.

I have seen him recently for fistula which was diagnosed by him after I was referred by GP. Considering my delicate situation he made sure that I was getting treatment / procedure on time even during Covid time when lots of surgeries were getting delayed. After two rounds of surgery and few follow up in between, I got finally discharged with good results.

I went to see mr veeranna shatkar at the Nuffield hosp I was very worried after having 2 operations at Basildon hosp but he was very nice and understanding he explained everything properly also about what I had done at Basildon he really put my mind at rest he did a small procedure and cured my problem which I am so grateful for it has made the world of difference he discharged me today and I am so happy I went to see him it was an overall very good experience the nurses were lovely aswell and I got an appointment within 2 days of calling I couldn’t recommend doctor shatkar enough
