I found Mr Arzoglou very pleasant, he explained everything, showed me my Scans, didn't hide anything. Told me if I had problems I could get in touch, and said if it recurs to tell my doctor to refer me back, I was very tense about getting it done when I first went to see the doctor but he made me feel relaxed straight away. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

Mr Arzoglou perform a transthoracic approach for a calcified disc protrusion on my back in August 2019. Now 5 months later my back is strong and pain free. The staff on ward 4 looked after me very well. The only downside was I did not receive any follow up for physio, but fortunately my doctor arranged some for me.

Mr. Arzoglou and his team laid out before me the cause of my problems and how it was proposed to rectify them. The problems that could possibly be caused by my comorbidities were explained to me quite clearly. I particularly appreciated receiving copies of the letters sent to my G.P by Mr. Arzoglou and other person(s) in his team. I felt part of the on-going decision making process, and not as a " sort of bystander" waiting to be told , " right , such and such is going to happen"

I was diagnosed with a tumour which was compressing on my spine with some horrendous symptoms like weakening of my legs, walking difficulties, etc. Having been assigned to be operated by Mr. Arzoglou he explained to me quite clearly what type of the tumour was and what effect will be if surgery didn't take place. Before surgery he explained clearly what this would entail and what would be the expected outcome after surgery. In all account Mr Arzoglou was good and very professional on how he handled my situation during pre-op and after, and I feel lucky to have been among his patients. As for future prognosis I have just had the good news of my latest MRI scan which was very good with a complete resection of the spinal part of the tumour without any recurrence. More importantly I have now regained the full use of my body. I cant thank him enough!
