I was first seen by Mr Stuart Robertson at a follow up breast clinic in Coventry UHCW for the results of mammogram and scan. Although these had not shown any abnormality, he suggested he do a biopsy of the nipple. I was very appreciative that he had considered doing this on that occasion, as this showed that had cancerous cells. This is a shortened version of my journey, as I am now awaiting an appointment to see the oncology team. I am aware, though, that I had been negative apart from a bleed from the nipple andsome skin abnormality, I am so grateful for his experience which led to my care by the Coventry breast care team. I have encountered many of the team now, and I cannot speak highly enough of them, doctors, nurses, and other professionals. I wish I could name them all. Another consultant (Mrs McEvoy) told me that it was thanks to Mr Robertson that my condition had been diagnosed. I will forever be grateful to him... and all the team I find Mr Robertson very empathic, easy to talk to, inspiring confidence, and also most welcoming to the family members who have accompanied me on my visits. I totally recommend him for the best of care,

Having been diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, I was initially in shock. This was compounded by a long and nervous wait for an operation under the NHS. When I could bear the wait no longer I turned to private care at the Nuffield at Warwick and found Mr. Robertson to be exceptional in every respect. So what was I looking for? Someone who listened to my point of view; who explained my options clearly and simply but didn't patronize me. Someone who cared deeply enough to want to do a neat job, and who I believed I could trust implicitly to operate as soon as was feasible. I elected for a simple bilateral mastectomy with aesthetic flat closure and Mr. Robertson did a fantastic job! The specialist breast nurse he works with, Shona Glen, has been equally as good and they work together extremely efficiently, following up any queries I had with care and attention. They really make every effort to know the patient and what makes us tick, offering all sorts of additional useful information and web sites. His secretary Michelle was also very good and always responded very quickly to any request. I would recommend Mr. Robertson and his wider team to anyone looking for first class care. They made what could have been a scary, frightening and unfamiliar situation the most positive it could be. Thank you Mr. Robertson, Shona and Michelle!

I first met Mr Robertson in September 2021 after a diagnosis that showed on a routine mammogram. My first surgery was in October 21 and I had reconstruction on the other breast in February 23. Throughout this time, Mr Robertson has been thoughtful and considerate, giving me options to consider. His manner is highly professional, personable and kind. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and cannot commend him highly enough.

I saw Stuart in December 2021 for a lump I had found aged 47. He was amazing from the beginning of my journey. He was very precise and informative and asked my opinion and how I was feeling about everything throughout. Chemo started in January 2022 and I couldn't have been better informed about the process and what was coming afterwards - it all happened really quickly but I was fully involved at all times with weekly appointments. Surgery was in August 2022 and beforehand we looked at multiple options together and Stuart drew many pictures to give me full understanding of how I would look - and he was spot on. His bedside manner was exceptional, I was only in overnight and saw him 3 times which is more than I expected. I continue with regular follow ups and he always gives me options to consider and then listens to what I do or don't want. I've felt I was in his very capable hands through out and trust him implicitly.

Mr Robertson treated me for breast cancer at Walsgrave Hospital and follow up at Rugby St Cross Hospital. I really appreciated his straight forward and friendly approach to both my surgery and follow up appointment. He put me at ease and wasn’t at all patronising. I have every confidence in Mr Robertson as a surgeon and Consultant and would have no hesitation in recommending his services
