I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my left breast. I had the tumour removed and opted for a breast reduction on both sides, which was done at the same time. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have Simon Smith as my surgeon. Simon is experienced and highly skilled as a surgeon. More than that though, he is also reassuring, calm and supportive. He explains everything clearly and nothing is too much trouble. He is a true professional in every sense of the word and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I see Mr Smith at the Springfield hospital. My consumption was for a ruptured implant he explained everything very clearly what he was going to do. My pro was very good they went through everything. The day of my op was 5 star treatment from start to finish, Mr Smiths team are amazing they are very professional and very caring at their job. My results after my op are amazing, would highly recommend Mr Smith and his team.

At last I found Simon Smith! After a number of consultations with other surgeons who had left me upset and confused,, moving my care to Simon was truly the start of my recovery. Simon has a great manner - no nonsense but still empathetic- and helped me understand all that I was facing and what treatment would be best for me. His communication is excellent and he takes as much time as needed at every appointment. Without doubt he is a fantastic surgeon and I am extremely happy with my results. Above all, simon and every member of his team treated me with kindness and compassion which I greatly appreciated.

In December 2022 I underwent breast reduction surgery after contemplating having it done for years and deciding in my late 30s that now was the time. Simon is a fantastic surgeon but he also has a wonderful bedside manner, I really felt like he cared, he never made me feel like any question was silly and he put me totally at ease on the day of the surgery itself. I am delighted with my results three months post surgery and I would recommend anyone thinking of having this surgery has a chat with Simon! Having this surgery really does change your life and having a surgeon that you trust implicitly - and who cares about you as an individual - makes all the difference! Thank you Simon!
