I was diagnosed with a severe fracture of my shoulder which was not going to fix itself. I saw Mr Gupta on a couple of occasions leading to an operation. His manner is brilliant in that he clearly explains the problem in simple English without medical jargon and with great empathy to me as the patient. Post operation he has diligently reviewed my progress and his team have been very thoroughly organising X rays and regular appointments. I have been very impressed with the operation and the after care. Highly recommended

I am a 67 year old healthy Olympian and Mr Gupta carried out an arthroscopic procedure to repair a massive rotator cuff (supraspinatus and infraspinatus). I found Mr Gupta to be extremely affable and therefore very easy to talk to about any hesitations I may have had in advance of my procedure and which he was able to reassure and ultimately give me the confidence I was seeking of a good outcome. He explained fully what the procedure involved and the outcome I could expect to achieve. I subsequently did have a very good outcome, the wound healing well and following consultations with him were thorough to make sure the recovery stages were being met. I would point out that my positive outcome so far is also due to following rigidly the physio I was given by the therapist. Mr Gupta was positive and encouraging in his attitude towards me and I cannot give any further suggestions as to how he could have improved his care.

Totally professional. Very good at communicating the different procedures, the outcome and the follow up required. I have had several shoulder and hand surgeries after accidents and I am totally satisfied. Also the support team and the administration are all very service minded.

In June 2021 I had a right reverse shoulder replacement as the tendon had worn away from previous surgery back in approximately 2014. Before the surgery I was having trouble lifting a kettle with my right hand and had to use both hands to do the slightest thing, also trying to hang the washing out on the line it took some time to do the job. Since the surgery I can now do things much better, I still do the exercises I was given by the physiotherapist daily. I am very pleased how the surgeon managed to sort the problem out for me.
