I was introduced to Mr Gupta by Mr Tahir Ali (Consultant) in December 2021.
At our first meeting Mr Gupta understood immediately my problem and started the process of treatment.
I found the whole process from start to finish a smooth , well oiled experience.
Because I have an underlying problem Mr Gupta involved Mr Ali and the whole Team worked very well together to give me a very satisfying result.
I will be using Mr Gupta again if needed and would certainly recommend him.
I would like to thank Mr Gupta and his whole team for the care and experience throughout the whole process.

he is very friendly and talks in a language that patients can understand. He thoroughly explained the procedure for the replacement PIP joint and what I could expect from it. After 3 months I have achieved a better result than expected, signed off from Hand therapy very quickly. I am pain free and have a great range of movement. The scar has healed very well and is barely visible.
We have discussed further treatments for my hand arthritis, but due to personal circumstances it is not right for me at the moment. He offered alternative steroid injection to try and alleviate pain and that has been booked already.
i am very pleased and would highly recommend him.

You always leave an appointment with Dr Gupta knowing exactly where you stand in the recovery process or what to expect with surgery etc. I have been a patient of his twice now and have nothing but positive comments

Mr Gupta is extremely professional and his gentle manner put me completely at ease.
Mr Gupta listens and is patient, he explains everything really well and appointments with him are never rushed. His PAs, Tracey and Kate, are extremely responsive and kind and helpful.
Mr Gupta's recommendation to have U/S guided injections in my shoulder eradicated the intense pain I was suffering daily. After further consultation, I underwent keyhole surgery in the hope of regaining full movement in my shoulder. I am delighted to say that after only 4 weeks, and with regular physiotherapy, my range of movement is amazing and I am continuing to make progress.
I can't recommend Mr Gupta highly enough.

Mr Rohit Gupta, BSc(Hons), MBBS(Lond), FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Tr&Orth), is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Upper Limb surgery at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Surrey since 2005. He provides NHS and private treatment for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand complaints, both surgical and non-surgical. He considers it to be an immense privilege that he is regarded as the premier Upper Limb Specialist to consult in his part of the UK by his patients and peers alike.
He is internationally renowned for his advanced arthroscopic (keyhole surgery), upper limb trauma, and arthroplasty (joint replacement - primary and revision) skills.
