All the staff at the BMI hospital were excellent. From the first consultation with Mr Winterton I felt comfortable, supported and relaxed by his whole team. Even the little things made my journey the best I could’ve hoped for which included a phone consultation when I couldn’t make an in person one before my surgery to ensure I understood what would happen during and after the surgery and I was still comfortable with having labiaplasty. Also on the day of my surgery Mr Winterton saw me before to explain everything that would happen and what to expect afterwards. I am now one week post-op having just seen Mr Winterton again and am very pleased with my results and the ease my entire journey has been. I am very happy I took this step as now I feel more comfortable and confident having done it. From start to finish I am extremely happy with my experience at the BMI and would recommend Mr Winterton to anyone thinking about having surgery.

I am now 5 weeks after a tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift. Rob came very highly recommended and as soon as I met him, I knew he was the right surgeon for me. He is very honest and realistic and manages expectations. He is also friendly and professional and puts you at ease. Both Rob and the anaesthetist Patrick kept me calm on the day of my surgery and I felt very safe in their hands. I am already thrilled with the results of my surgery and I know they’ll continue to improve over the next few months. My scars are very thin and neat and easily hidden by underwear. Rob always replies quickly to any emails or queries and fit me in for an appointment at short notice when I had a couple of minor concerns. Rob’s PA Vicki is also fantastic - everything ran smoothly from my first contact with her and she is friendly and helpful and always responds very quickly. Would 100% recommend Rob and his team!

I am two months down the line after having blepharoplasty of my upper eyelids and I am delighted with the results. Having any kind of surgery on your face is a big deal as the results are there for all to see, but I needn’t have worried, Rob did a fabulous job. In fact, after a couple of weeks of wearing ‘sunnies’ outdoors whilst the swelling went down, no-one has even noticed! Although I still have a faint red line where the incision was made this is not noticeable at ‘standing’ distance and Rob assures me this will fade completely over the coming months. I elected to have it performed under local anaesthetic and, although I was a little apprehensive when I got into theatre, the whole team in attendance were so supportive and encouraging; it was a painless and straightforward procedure. I can only echo the other comments made about Rob and the team; I particularly like how he wrote down everything we discussed in the consultations and then sends it to you so there’s no room for any mis-understanding.

I can’t thank Mr Winterton and everyone at the bmi highfield/Alexandra hospital enough for there care and compassion. Over the course of two years I have lost just short of 10 stone, and naturally I was left with excess skin (as to be expected) I wanted a tummy tuck and a breast uplift with possible implants, I booked my consultation with Mr Winterton who put my mind at ease. His expectations were realistic and I valued his professional opinion.I chose a fleur de lis tummy tuck for the best results and a mastopexy (breast uplift only), I’m ecstatic with my results (im just coming up to 5 weeks post op) and I honestly can’t believe my results… Im so glad I chose Mr Winterton, he literally has changed my life, he has a passion for the work he does clearly and I would recommend him to anyone with hesitation :)

I had a standard tummy tuck and liposuction in August 2021. Rob and his team made me feel so comfortable and at ease with the whole process of the surgery, helping with any concerns or worries I had. My stay at the BMI Alexandra hospital was comfortable and with no issues whatsoever. Rob and the team made sure I was taken care of and once home Rob was easy to get hold of if I had any concerns or questions about my recovery. The surgery itself was a breeze, the nurses and anaesthetist were very professional and kind and made me feel safe in their hands. My recovery was so much easier than I expected with very minimal swelling for only a few weeks. My scar is low and neat and there’s been no problems at all. I really couldn’t be happier with the decision to go with Rob as my surgeon and I’m over the moon with my results. I’ve already recommended him to a few friends as it really has been the best thing I’ve ever done both physically and mentally for me.
