My total knee replacement surgery and aftercare has been excellent. I have been so well looked after and my surgery has been a great success. Mr Phaltanker is an extremely competent, professional and highly recommended surgeon. His team all give the same advice which is very reassuring. There has been no conflicting advice which is rare. My physiotherapist Liane has really understood my niggle with my hamstring and has really looked after me whilst I’m recovering. Liane has been very thorough and supportive, she has given me excellent advice and exercises to do and only seven weeks on from surgery I feel confident in almost all activities. What a wonderful team in a wonderful hospital. Thank you.

I recently had surgery at The Highfield hospital. From check in up to physio the process was faultless. In particular the care of some of the staff was outstanding. I would like to mention the following. Nurses Sam & Stacey on Linden Ward. Very attentive and caring. Physios On the ward Anees was professional, caring & friendly. As an outpatient I saw Cacimne for 4 sessions. Her advice and care was outstanding. She was encouraging and understanding. She helped me so much. Thank you. Suzanne

Felt safe and welcome at Highfield hospital staff friendly and helpful when you attend hospital you feel vulnerable not at Highfield experience eas not stressful at all would highly recommend this hospital. Today I had my pre operative assessment at the Highfield hospital. I am quite an anxious person when visiting any hospital but Emma and Mary made me feel at ease . Emma explained everything she needed to collect for the assessment before proceeding talking to me all the time . They were both very professional and caring so thank you to you both .

I recently had surgery at the Alexander Hospital. All the staff were really nice and approachable. I later continued with my care at the Highfield Hospital where I would like to think my consultant Mr Rao for his kindness. Just finished my post op physio treatment with Daniella. Had my second total Knee replacement in August and both surgeries (March 2025) were a very positive experience. All the staff throughout both surgeries were polite, caring and professional and all seemed happy to come to work and give of their best. Shout out to Daniella who pushed me hard to get my knee to straighten to 10 degrees when before surgery the knee was deformed at around 25 degrees. Thank you to all staff for making the surgeries and after care such a positive experience. Truly life changing.
