Mr Rafid Al- Mahfoudh is an exceptional Neuro Surgeon. He explained the operation in great detail. He came to visit me on the Saturday morning after the operation, which made me feel well looked after. In theatre I was extremely nervous and he reassured me throughout. My operation was C5/6 & C6/7 Anterior Cervical discectomy & Cage Fusion. I went for the follow up appointment today 18th November and we were both very pleased with the outcome. Once again, he explained what he had done.I will see him again in a few months, to check on my progress. He is a caring man and Consultant and I would trust him completely. I know I am only one of many patients that he has, but he made me feel the only one.
