My treatment was exemplary and at no time caused me any anxiety. I should add that this also applied to other staff involved. I thought it an excellent team.
The information given beforehand was extensive and helpful, though I would mention that two separate values were given for the strength of sun-cream recommended. I have adopted the stronger.
The one thing that could - I suggest - be improved, relates to stitches and steri strips. I do not recall being told how long the wound should be covered, which only mattered because the steri strip covering the wound fell off after two days. I discovered in due course, via my GP's practice and the local pharmacist, that I could readily buy such strips from him. (The wound was of course uncovered during my enquiries]. I would have welcomed either an extra steri strip or two, (I assume they are not expensive} or else the information that I could purchase these at my local pharmacy.
Apart from this minor difficulty I have nothing but praise for the whole team and would without hesitation, trust myself to their care again.

I was totally impressed when I had an ugly spot on my face removed at Brighton General Hospital Dermatology Unit on June 23rd.
I was seen almost immediately after arriving and the whole operation was dealt with speedily, painlessly and efficiently. Doctor Drake and all the nurses were nothing but kindness. Mine was only a small operation but, nevertheless, not something I was looking forward to!

I found the doctor and his team very helpful and kind. He explained the problem clearly and the work he needed to do to rectify. I am very pleased with operation carried out and the the healing, which is looking fine.
