Dr Rath and his team are amazing, they literally gave me back my life. I had been suffering from horrendous pain for months, lost the function of my hand and foot and was taking a lot of strong drugs that made me unable to function normally. Dr Rath was very kind and compassionate and he arranged for me to have ACDF surgery, he explained everything in full and put me at ease, on the morning of my operation he was around to offer reassurance beforehand which helped a lot. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. 4 months on i am completely pain free, i have full function of my hand and foot back, and i can function normally without strong medication. Thank you so much.

supportive, caring and good listener did not carry out unnecessary operation on my neck and found the cause of the pain to be linked to carpal tunnel for which he arranged my operation and the main issues have been resolved following this procedure

Mr. Rath was most polite and explained things fully to me about my condition and what my treatment would be.
I had no reservations about my operation as I felt I would be in safe hands.
His team were also polite and helpful.

L5 /S1 Prolapsed Disk - Microdiscectomy
I first met Mr Rath in September 2020 after having several years of back pain which had suddenly worsened in August. I have to say from our very first meeting Mr Rath was very easy to talk to and it was clear he knew exactly what the problems were with my back even before an MRI scan took place. He explained all of the symptoms that I was suffering at the time and why they should occur in a very easy to understand manner. I had the operation on the 12th October 2020, since then I have gained the feeling down the back of my leg and some of my foot but he said this may take longer. I am now able to walk nearly normally after physiotherapy as my right foot is now strong enough to be weight bearing. I cant thank him enough for his professionalism, skill and kindness throughout my time in his care and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone needing spine surgery. Sam
