Mr Naseem appears to lack an appreciation of the psychological and practical impact of the inaccurate and incomplete information he provides, or refuses to provide. He may benefitg form enggasing in staff development events focussed on personalised care. He needs to fully aquaint himself fully with a patients medical history before sending letters with misleading statements.

"I was referred within a 2 week period to the Urology department at the RLI, via Ash Trees Surgery. It is worth noting that before my appointment I was becoming slightly scared as everything was happening quick. Ultra-Sound, blood test and referral, all within a 4 week period. This is not a criticism as the response from all parties was great. Before my visit to the RLI I had rang the GP's on a couple of occasions, including one before this appiontment. The time they gave me, especially in this difficult periods, was invaluable and reassuring. A big thankyou to Ash Trees Surgery. It is worth noting that the doctors appointment to check my right testis was the first time I'd been to the doctors in a long period; I would never waste anyones time, especially GP's. Withg regards to my appointment with Mr Naseem, he made sure I was at ease throughout it. He kept updating me on the findings. I got the impression that he had spoken to my GP at Ash Trees, which is good. I have just recieved a letter from Mr Naseem with a thorough update on what has been done and the findings. I appreciate that no one is fully sure about what the potential problem is with my left testis, but Mr Naseem tried to reassure me that it does not look to be serious. He spoke about a management plane, including discussing my situation at the MDT, again it shows that involving others and getting their opinion helps. As a minimum he has stated that I will be invited back in 6 months time for another ultrasound. To summarise, a good examination by Mr Naseem and I came out of the hospital with a lot of respect from the staff who work for the NHS. Thankyou Tony"

#sayThankYou

NHS No.442-571-9905 Thank you for the care received on my two visits to the RLI on ward 33. I thank you personally for your skill and care in the operations, where would we be without people like yourself? All the staff were commited to their various roles, and although very busy they were pleasant, and cheerful doing everthing they could to make our problems easier. In the current climate especially they all deserve a very big thank you Keep safe and stay strong, my thanks to one and all Best Wishes to you all, Kenneth Parkinson

I would have liked the various symptoms of which I told him to have been addressed a little more thoroughly. He is a man of few words. I left unsure as to whether some of my symptoms have a cue or not. The letter I received from Mr Naseem after the event went to reassure me on some points.
