I first met Mr Hanief in October 2020. Apart from being an excellent surgeon, Mr Hanief is a kind man. At the time of my DCIS diagnosis I was already experiencing high anxiety (My Dad fighting cancer, my Mum dementia). In my personal experience Mr Hanief’s playful sense of humour helped me manage the situation better but I must add that this did not in any way undermine or detract from the seriousness, professionalism and expertise of his work. Mr Hanief is a hardworking and humble man. I used my trust in him to help me move through the process. I would like to thank Mr Hanief from the bottom of my heart for my care and especially during these most challenging times of Covid 19. I have no hesitation in recommending him wholeheartedly.

Remarkable and excellent Surgeon! Dr Hanief is a very caring , kind and humble doctor that I have seen in UK so far. From the start of my initial consultation appointment he was very empathetic in his approach to me. Very efficient and always tried to put the patient's best interest at the forefront and clearly explained the treatment outcomes of the DCIS surgical procedure of mastectomy . The whole surgical process went well without having any side-effects that I feared initially from what I read and was cleared of all margins . I am greatly grateful to Dr Hanief for his timely and fast paced way of having arranged numerous investigation procedures at the Parapet prior to the surgery, especially in this challenging COVID period .

I was under the care of a different surgeon (with whom I was very happy) for my breast cancer diagnosis, during my pre surgery chemotherapy, and for my surgical consultation. When I was offered a date for surgery the first one available was with Mr Hanief and so I took it purely based on the earlier date. Mr Hanief called me prior to the surgery and went out of his way to meet me and arrange further tests to make sure I was well enough for the procedure. He called me as soon as the results were available, and the surgery went ahead as planned. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. It was my first ever surgery and so I was anxious about it, but I can only praise the entire team for reassuring me and looking after me so well. The procedure went well, and clear margins were achieved. In addition, I am very pleased with the aesthetics. In terms of the breast there is no notable difference; it looks the same as it did before. Remarkable! My experience of Mr Hanief is that in addition to being a talented surgeon he appears a kind, caring, hardworking, and humble man. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and I am very thankful for the care he has given me during these extremely challenging COVID19 times.

I have seen Mr Hanief on several occasions following a diagnosis of breast cancer and he has always been courteous, helpful and kind. He also performed my surgery which has healed well.

in my opinion there is no finer man, in terms of skills and qualities regarding breast cancer than Mr Hanief. I am fortunate that I was able to share my ups and downs with such a caring, humble man. my sister had a lumpectomy on both breasts, sometime ago, in the end her breasts were the best shape that they had ever been. Micheal Angelo worked in stone, this man works on moveable flesh with outstanding results. to say I am impressed is an understatement.
