Mr Malahias is a caring, kind, compassionate, empathetic physician, with surgical skills to match his interpersonal and patient care ability. His focus is doing the very best that he can for the patient, advocating for the patient strongly (not his ego, which can happen between surgeons in MDT environments). I, and my family who have interacted with Mr Malahias, can not recommend him highly enough. He is a credit to the medical profession and a struggling NHS, never letting obvious limitations hinder what he could do for a patient and their family. Fabulous physician and ray of hope in stressful, worrying times for patients.

Excellent from first consultation, surgery and to final discharge. I really felt Mr Malahias listened to me and my concerns. During my discharge appointment he fully explained the next steps of the process to me. During this appointment as well he waited patiently whilst my daughter explained the process as my hearing aids had broken.

My journey with Mr Malahias began in February 2021 and I have just been discharged following a variety of surgeries and treatment. Mr Malahias has been incredible throughout my journey. He shows care and compassion on each appointment. Nothing is too much trouble and is always there if you need any extra help or advice. His secretary Deb is amazing too and has helped when I've had questions or need advice. I know that should I need treatment in the future he will be there for me. The NHS are lucky to have Mr Malahias and I was very lucky that he was the consultant assigned to me.

I have been under the care of Marco Malahias for a year now and expect to be discharged at my next appointment. What a privilege it has been to be a patient of his. I felt totally safe in his highly skilled hands. Every step of my journey explained in detail, possible side effects of surgery but the reassurance that all will be well in good time. If I had to trust this man with my life, I would. How blessed the NHS is to have him on their team. I was treated with respect and efficiency by everyone in his team, including Debs his secretary. Thank you so much. My only complaint is that Marco Malahias cannot be cloned and his skills shared with every hospital. p.s. he wears lovely aftershave.
