Booked a hearing consultation with the ear nose and throat specialist for our 4 year old daughter because I have always assumed private is better also booked a day off work and travelled over 30 miles for the appointment. We got there 10 minutes early to make sure we were on time.we then waited another 20 minutes after our appointment was due only to be told the gp who we were booked in with wasn't answering his phone or text at all.we then waited another 15 minutes before he answered his phone only to be told that he hadn't received the email confirming our appointment which was booked around 3 weeks before.he was then asked if he could make it to the appointment (1.5 hours late by now) and his response was no even though he was only 20 minutes away.as you can imagine our daughter was gettin irritable by now as any kid would.the 2 lady's on reception were very very good however and really wasn't to blame.they were very apologetic and sorry after the gp just basically brushed off the care of our daughter and the only feedback we got was oh refund them.absoulety disgusting treatment of us and our daughter. We have had no apology at all from the gp whatsoever. Unprofessional treatment off the highest standards. Keep clear if you want the best care for your kids.shockin behaviour
