After years of problems with my knee, mg physiotherapist recommended an appointment with Mr Alam. Mr Alam inspected my knee and after a scan advised I needed to have MPFL reconstruction. I had the procedure carried out by Mr Alam in mid october 19 and can say the operation has made a big difference to my knee, feels stable and stronger already

I was very impressed when I read Mr Alums profile on line and chose to see him for my knee operation. In the pre op consultation Mr Alum went through the procedure for my whole knee replacement showing me an example of the new knee joint and telling me how the operation would take place. On the day of the operation Mr Alam came into to see me and check that all was well and make sure that I was at ease with what was going to take place. The operation was a success and I was well looked after by Mr Alum and the staff at the hospital, nurses and the physio. team. Seven months on the operation has now healed and the scar is almost invisible, the knee works wonderful. Mr Alum was at all times professional and friendly and always discussed things giving great detail and showing examples of how he new knee would work, he also had good sense of humour. I would like to thank Mr Alam and his team for my successful operation. I would highly recommend Mr Alam.

I came to see Mr Alam in March 2019. I had been suffering with bad osteo arthritis and pain in my right knee for well over 10 years. After x rays and an MRI Mr Alam said that I was a good candidate for a total knee replacement. The replacement was done at the end of May. Although the joint was obviously stiff afterwards, there was not much pain at all and after several months of exercises I was back at work and walking unaided. I am now able to walk without pain and can negotiate stairs and steps with no problem. He has been professional and friendly throughout and has always discussed things at great length, making sure I fully understand everything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Alam to anyone considering this procedure and actually wish I had had this done several years earlier.

Mr M Alam is a charming professional person. He explains everything to you and puts you at ease the minute you talk to him. I would totally recommend him to anybody. Also my stay at the Oaks hospital and the staff were excellent.
