I have been so impressed by Kelvin Lau at Barts Hospital Thorax Centre. Having had two previous operations deferred due to health complications, this time I was naturally rather anxious. At our consultation prior to admission Kelvin Lau completely put me at ease. He listened to my concerns and views and explained the treatment options for my metastatic lung nodule thoroughly and in great detail. After our discussions I had no doubt that I could put my trust in this doctor. We agreed that I would undergo Navigation Bronchoscopy with biopsy and insertion of a fudicial for proposed Cyberknife treatment. The night before my operation, Kelvin Lau took the time to come to see me to reassure and go over the details  of procedure and aftercare.   His friendly and confident approach was much appreciated. The procedure went well and I was home later that day. It is obvious that as well as being a highly skilled professional at the top of his game Kelvin Lau has a warm and compassionate nature and is very willing to engage with his patients. Thank you.
