I was assigned Dr Sedra as my consultant by my insurance company. As someone who up to this point had been relatively fortunate with my health, I was initially quite nervous / concerned about the back pain I had been experiencing. However, Dr Sedra was very reassuring and spent time explaining the underlying cause of my issue (slipped disc) and the options that I had for treatment. Through Dr Sedra, I understood the potential risks and also the potential chances of success, and where I had any questions or concerns, Dr Sedra was able to answer these with all the information that I needed. My first option was to see whether an epidural injection along with physical therapy would work. The process to get the epidural injection was managed and executed by Dr Sedra and the process, and aftercare, was fantastic. Unfortunately, the underlying issue / pain was not solved by this process but that is no reflection on Dr Sedra. With a slipped disc, this can work in some cases and not in others. I was explained this prior to having the epidural. When the epidural didn't work, my next option was a micro discectomy operation. I spoke at length with Dr Sedra about all the considerations around the procedure and everything was explained very clearly to me. It ultimately was my decision and I felt very sure around my trust of Dr Sedra undertaking the operation on me. The operation went well and Dr Sedra supported me through the aftercare process. He made it clear that I could contact him if any questions or concerns, which I really appreciated. I did email him a few times and he responded swiftly. 2 months post operation and my back is now feeling great. The operation has been a revelation to me and I feel so much better. I sincerely thank Dr Sedra for everything he has done in making the process with the operation as smooth as it possibly can be. Undertaking an operation should never be taken lightly but Dr Sedra was completely professional and supportive throughout the whole process which made it much easier for me to go through with.

Throughout my journey with Dr Sedra, from the day he told me I was diagonosed with scoliosis, I knew I was in good hands. He took me through each stage taking into consideration my feelings and thoughts. At times in my appointments, I felt anxious but he reassured me there's always a great result for those who struggle. He wasn't just a consultant, he was also my inner strength in coping with my condition. I thank him for the support he's given me throughout the difficult times of my journey. I highly recommend reaching out to this amazing consultant because today I am free from my brace, after enduring struggle, pain for over 3 years. Dr Sedra you are my unsung hero. Thank you :)

My experience attending Mr Sedra's clinic has been outstanding. From the outset Mr Sedra has provided me with reassurance, excellent advice, guidance and direction. Dr Fady Sedra was an extremely helpful, professional and experienced surgeon. He was appointed as the surgeon for our daughter's scoliosis correction surgery. Headvised us on all of the options and possible risks and reassured us every step of the way. He supported us as a family through the lead-up, the surgery itself and the post-op recovery. He helped massively after the operation and explained how the procedure occurred and what we would need to do to help our daughter through recovery. She is now fully recovered with no complications after surgery but we know we can still contact Dr Sedra if we have any questions or concerns. We had an amazing experience with him and are very grateful for his experience and support in this field.
