I was found to have a tumour in my cartilage covering my bone in 1998. I was referred to Tim Briggs in the Royal National Orthopaedic hospital He decided to cut my arm, drill a hole and scrape the tumour out and kill any remaining cells with hot cement.
I had every faith in him, what a wonderful doctor and here I am in 2024 to tell the tale. Thank you.
This man is a hero to me. Brilliant man.
The most amazing consultant, caring and supportive. Helped me avoid knee surgery around 15 years ago, am having issues again and he is the only one I trust to help me get back to fitness.
Saw this consultant in 2019 with major problems with my new knee.
I was more then dissopointed with dealing with Mr Briggs, i had seen him on a number of occasions and was due to be admitted to the ROH.
This was then cancelled due to covid 19 which i clearly understood, however when services returned, we found it impossible to contact him, eventually our family Doctor
managed to contact him by phone, all he was told was that i was being discharged with no reason, there was no offer of any other surgeon, i was dumped as a patient but he was happy to take my money!!!
My husband describes the whole experience with Briggs as cruelty.
The care I have had from Professor Briggs over the past 12 years can’t be faulted.
He is friendly and approachable with a great sense of humour. Even though I know he is dealing with people with very much more serious problems than mine he always makes me feel I am just as worthy of his time and that he has all the time in the world for me.
His secretary Janis is also great and wonderfully kind. Highly recommended.
(I have been seen at Bolsover Street in London as well as at RNOH.)
