Saw this consultant in 2019 with major problems with my new knee. I was more then dissopointed with dealing with Mr Briggs, i had seen him on a number of occasions and was due to be admitted to the ROH. This was then cancelled due to covid 19 which i clearly understood, however when services returned, we found it impossible to contact him, eventually our family Doctor managed to contact him by phone, all he was told was that i was being discharged with no reason, there was no offer of any other surgeon, i was dumped as a patient but he was happy to take my money!!! My husband describes the whole experience with Briggs as cruelty.
