Mr Remoundos has been absolutely exceptional, kind, caring, and empathetic from my first meeting with him. He has helped me through the most difficult time of my life with my diagnosis of large cancer necessitating a mastectomy. This is something you never imagine is going to happen to you, until it actually does. Nothing was too much trouble for him, everything was explained in detail, and followed up after every consultation with a detailed letter. He has phoned me with results in evenings and weekends, always answered my questions (which were many!) with great patience and kindness. He is a true professional, a brilliant surgeon, but even more important to me a kind and compassionate man with a great sense of humour. I couldn’t have got through this difficult time without the assistance of Mr Remoundos and his team, and I feel very fortunate that he was my surgeon. I cannot speak highly enough of his team from the specialist breast nurses Jane and Kelly at Genesis Care, who I met initially, to Tracy at the Manor who has looked after me since the operation. Huge thanks must go to Mr Remoundos’ Personal Assistant, Felicity, who has been absolutely wonderful from the beginning of my journey, facilitating all arrangements, and replying so quickly to all my queries.
I cannot recommend Mr Remoundos more highly, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart.
Dionysios Remoundos received me with a friendly welcome, assessed my problem with professional sympathy, excised my cancerous breast lump with care nd efficiency while always respecting my own desire for an infusion of humour.
He is a thoughtful and kind medic and my experience was all the better for having him operate my elected way.
I hardly can recommend him more highly.
I have had to see a number of medical consultants over the past few years, and Mr Remoundos leads the way. From the outset, he listened with empathy and understanding and following the devastating diagnosis of cancer in both breasts he reassured me of his care and gave me all the time I needed to explain the diagnosis and my treatment options. His time and patience was always available for me during all my questions and concerns prior and after my surgery. He is a remarkably skilled surgeon and following my bi-lateral mastectomy my recovery has been well supported by him and his team. He has a lovely warm sense of humour and both laughing and crying with him were all part of the overall therapeutic and healing experience. He is a big favourite amongst the hospital staff and patients alike which speaks volumes . I trust him implicitly, thank him with my whole heart and recommend him unreservedly.
I have not written a review on these sites before, but feel compelled to do so for Mr Remoundos. We have had many illness in our family and I can say that of all the doctors we have met along the way, he outshines them all.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer following routine mammogram, and referred to Mr Remoundos for surgery. I quickly discovered that he has a unique and remarkable combination of skills which not only instil confidence in your treatment, but also make you feel like a person and not just another patient on the list:
He listens carefully to questions/concerns (and I had many), never dismisses, and always takes the time to talk through and make sure you are happy with any decisions.
Follow up after surgery was timely and thorough, and he continued to support my ongoing questions/concerns.
I very much valued the fact that he was always honest, and coupled this with compassion. He has a warmth and light sense of humour, meaning I often left consultations with a smile….despite the fact I had cancer.
He is clearly very experienced in breast health, with excellent surgical skills - my mastectomy scar was very neat and tidy and healed well.
He is confident in his assessments and recommendations, but without an ounce of arrogance, and this made me trust him implicitly.
I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone - he genuinely has patients best interests at heart, with the skills and expertise to ensure this.
I went to see Mr Remoundos after being told that I needed to have a lump in my breast removed. I didn’t want to wait to have this done on the NHS because of the long waiting time so I was looking in to private options. I went to see Mr Remoundos for a consultation and he was wonderful. He explained everything to me, went through all of the options available to me, and answered all of my questions. I felt completely listened to and reassured. I left the appointment feeling confident about the best way forward for me. I subsequently had the lump removed by Mr Remoundos and cannot thank him enough. My scar is so neat and subtle, and my breast has healed beautifully. Mr Remoundos’s communication between my appointments has been excellent. I am pleased to say that the results from my lump have shown no cancer and it was an absolute joy to receive this news from Mr Remoundos. If you are considering having any surgery done then you will be in safe hands with Mr Remoundos. Plus you will feel supported and listened to every step of the way.
