I was a patient at the manor hospital for 4 days after having major surgery The nursing staff for absolutely amazing and tended to my every need whilst I was a patient The room at the manor was nice but I feel that it did need to be renovated as you pay a lot of money to stay in a room The TV is very small as well as I I'm severely sight impaired and struggled to see the screen The food was absolutely amazing
I had a minor cosmetic operation and all of the hospital staff, from receptionists to the surgeon, were excellent. The hospital itself was clean, tidy and well maintained. I would definitely recommend to others.
I recently had an operation and the staff were wonderfully considerate and caring. My only concern was that the room was chilly when we arrived for my operation in the morning. We tried altering the thermostat but it didn't make any difference. This then left me pretty cold and created difficulty when trying to get the cannula in and taking any bloods. I had been left the gown and stockings to get on myself which was fine but there was such a lot of activity in and out of the room, male nurses included, it left me a bit stressed as I was unable to just get changed, especially as the male nurse didn't wait for an answer after knocking. I could cope with this in a normal situation but pre-op, left me a bit more unsettled that I was hoping to be. As I said, the nurses were just incredible but I just feel that it could have been hugely improved with a warm room and staff remembering to knock and wait.
Great team of nurses and physiotherapists. They take great care of their patients making them feel at home. The facilities were also good and clean. This is my second visit to Manor and I stayed 5 nights. I was treated with respect and care which made my stay better through the pain. The catering team was also very caring and accommodating. Special mention to Nurse Elizabeth and Sylvia for being attentive and friendly. Thank you all.
Excellent location in West Oxford located in a quite housing street. Throughout my many consultations and examinations I have found all the staff to be helpful, caring and willing to share their knowledge about the procedures.
Spent terrible time in the underground car park total gridlock and saw several cars in accidents, involving very stressed drivers. No monitoring of the situation or warnings to say the car park was already full, before drivers entered. Was already late for my appointment, then there was a very long queue at the reception where there were not enough staff to deal with the situation. Totally stressful and not what one would expect from a private hospital. Had an appointment at the JR hospital two days previously and although the parking is always a challenge, the whole experience was efficient and very much better.
