All the staff were very kind and helpful and caring. The nursing staff explaining what any treatments were for and the catering staff always prepared to recommend something appropriate for you if, as I felt, didn't want anything much. The television programmes and channels were a little strange for me. In general my stay was as comfortable as it could be.

The hospital entrance was very impressive and receptionists informative. The ward was a bit dismal, corridors were dull, the windows did not open consequently the recycled air slightly tainted. The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, the nurses professional in their manner. Some language difficulties lead to a little confusion at times. Housekeeping staff lacked knowledge of dietary needs and I was left without clean water- a patient should not need to ask for water or if so should be advised where there is a refill area. Patients who feel nauseated and lack enthusiasm in eating were offered the menu but no assistance on contents of food. Despite the ward not been busy, the senior nursing staff were office bound. Overall as this was my first time as a “private patient,” it was very disappointing.

I recently had excision surgery for stage 4 endometriosis at the Manor Hospital. My consultant Mr Arambage was a great doctor - incredibly thorough, knowledgeable and the level of care I experienced surpassed all expectations. The nurses on the ward were really kind, caring and supportive, making me feel at ease and comfortable during my stay. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Manor Hospital should I need any future care.

I had an excellent experience at The Manor hospital. My surgeon Ms Petrie was excellent, friendly, professional and caring throughout. Sylvana, an operating room nurse, was also lovely and made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout my surgery. I would also like to mention Paul, a gentleman working at reception who was just delightful and friendly and made the whole experience run smoothly and put a smile on my face
