I recently met Mr Remoundos following surgery carried out by another excellent surgeon to remove my breast implants. During this procedure a mass was found. Mr Remoundos was consulted by my surgeon and introduced to me to explain the next steps. I have had breast cancer previously so it was an anxious time while I waited for test results. During my stay in hospital Mr Remoundos was professional, kind and considerate and took time to explain what would happen next. Thankfully, the mass was benign. Before my scheduled appointment date Mr Remoundos called me to let me the results to put my mind at rest. I am so grateful to him for his understanding. Should the results have been different I am in no doubt that the excellent level of care would have continued.

It is rare to find a male surgeon who thinks about the psychological side of breast cancer. Mr Remoundos looks at this disease holistically, he is well-researched and on top of new treatments. Working in many hospitals he takes best practice from all and raises standards. Humour goes a long way and I love his consultations which strike a more serious tone when necessary. I was really scared of surgery and would happily run 1000 miles away before it but Mr Remonundos is so skilled; I cannot believe how well I recovered and how well my scars have healed. I had a therapeutic mammoplasty and feel so happy all invasive cancer was removed with a great physical outcome. Unfortunately I need a further operation due pathological results but I know I am in the superb hands of this gentle, humourous, practical and experienced surgeon. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It’s always a good sign when everyone you meet in a hospital proactively tells you how lovely your consultant is. He is thorough in his investigations, pulls no punches and tells it straight but with kindness. Is it strange to say that I look forward to every appointment? If a cancer diagnosis has led me to meeting this skilled, experienced, warm, humourous, empathetic, knowledgeable, highly intelligent and patient man.. it is almost worth it. I really feel safe. Having been under his care at both the Churchill and The Manor I have been incredibly fortunate and thank him and his supporting teams.
