I recently had breast augmentation surgery with Mr Lam and could not be happier with the results! I had wanted this operation for some time, as my body had developed and left my breasts behind! A friend of mine went to transform for the same procedure and although she had no problems, she did say it was painful and the dressings were really uncomfortable. I can honestly say that I experienced minimal pain and was pleased to wake up with small post op dressings and a pressure bra. I wanted to have my surgery done by someone I could trust and somewhere closer to home incase there were any problems. We paid the same price and my friend even said she wishes she would have gone with the same surgeon. From the consultation to the last review, I have felt in control of my procedure and comfortable with all staff involved. The Claremont hospital was lovely, to the point where I enjoyed my stay! I felt confident that help was at hand if I needed it and nothing was too much for the staff. Mr Lam was professional throughout, making sure I was aware of not only the benefits but the risks involved too. I have recommended him to all my friends, with one of them already booking their consultation! If you're looking for a surgeon you can trust, I highly recommend Mr Lam.

As someone with Pectus Excavatum I visited Dr Lam to find out if breast augumentation could be used to improve the look of my chest. To my relief he had performed surgery on pectus excavatum patients before and was able to show me evidence of some fantastic results. He was friendly, enthusiastic and would answer any questions I had. My surgery was reasonably complex; due to the pectus excavatum my chest is on a slant and I had also had previous surgery on my pectus (the NUSS bar procedure) and had scar tissue inside my chest already. Despite these difficulties Dr Lam always remained positive. Now, six weeks down the line, I am amazed by the results. Dr Lam has performed brilliant surgery which has evened out my breasts and improved the look of my pectu, and more importantly it has given me a boost of confidence. I would highly recommend Dr Lam and the kind, hardworking staff at Claremont Hospital.

Previously I've had a gastric band and lost nearly 8 stone I was left with an awful over hang that was huge and emty breast pockets. 14 weeks ago to the date I had 2 operations together, at the claremont hospital. I had breast Implants and a Fleu de Lys abdominoplasty. I had heard about Mr Lam and read up about him, he was the man with great reviews and I'd also seen some of his work in person. When I had my consultation with him I had taken a note pad and pen with questions I was ready to ask but I didn't need it because when he was talking me through these operations he has covered everything i needed to no. We was then starting to talk size of breast I wanted I said double D ish no smaller not much bigger so we agreed on 500 ml which sounds a lot, but you have to consider your own size aswel, I'm naturally a broad person, yes it's nerve racking as Mr Lam will have an idea of what they will look like but I had a big hanging belly and no breast so I was nervous. So like I say 14 weeks on I measure at an E cup which I'm extremely happy with they are a good size in proportion with my new flat body the surgery went very well. Mr lam had removed 3.5 kilo of skin or 7.7 pounds in weight. The scar is so neat and such a thin line, it's great ! I've healed well no problems. I will say for any one would have these surgeries together I went back to work after 2 weeks I was absolulty fine just very achy as I'm a hairdresser who is stood up all day, so if you have a stand up in your job take a good 3-4 weeks off that's my advice. If you choose this fantastic surgeon I'm happy for him to share my pictures with you as I am a new proud body owner all thanks to my surgeon who's made me feel so much more confident with my self and he himself had noticed this, I honestly can't thank him enough. From a young age I have always hated the shape of my breasts and following a weight loss of 2 stone and a becoming a gym bunny I was left even more dissatisfied with my bust. After contemplating a “boob job” for many years I finally made the decision that this was something I wanted to do. I spent a lot of time researching surgeons and hospitals looking at places like Transform and MYA but wasn’t keen on the big companies and wanted something closer to home and a hospital with a smaller family feel. I wanted a surgeon that was friendly and kind and would take the time to listen to what I wanted. I found Mr Lam through his 5 star recommendations online and through speaking to his previous patients so booked my consultation at Claremont Private Hospital as I knew the hospital well. I was very nervous and worried about the whole thing but was met with a very jolly, kind and compassionate doctor who listened to my goals, expectations and worries realistically. I was wearing a 30/32 C bra which gapped at the front due to lack of volume. It was critical to me that my boobs looked natural and I didn’t want them to be big, I discussed this with Mr Lam and on his recommendation opted for an anatomical (teardrop) shaped implant. I booked my op during my consultation as I was so impressed by Mr Lam and how at ease he had made me feel. He gave me three options on implant size for my desired D/DD cup, I decided on the middle option of 255mls. The consultation was in March and I booked my operation for July giving me plenty of time to cool off and mull over the decision. When they day came I was terrified to say the least but once again Mr Lam made me feel at ease and comfortable constantly reassuring me and making sure I was ok. The op went fine and I was only in theatre 50 minutes with no drains just a support bra. Mr Lam came to check on me post op then once again before he went home. I was discharged the next morning with some pain killers and a 3 day course of antibiotics. The pain was moderate for the first 5 days more uncomfortable than anything and awkward as you have to sleep on your back and sat upright for 2 weeks post op. I was able to shower a few hours after surgery as had shower proof dressings insitu. I had one week off work but really could have done with two. I had no real complications post-surgery just a few aches and pains that I was reviewed for, nothing was too much trouble and I was seen at the hospital twice for a check-up to put my mind at rest. One of these times Mr Lam had a full clinic but still squeezed me in to see him – this really helped me as I am a bit of a worrier. At my final review 6 weeks post op Mr Lam said he was very pleased with my results. The finished product is a really natural looking bust; in fact I don’t think people would know they are not real. I am now 12 weeks post op and am over the moon with the results. I am fully back to my normal routine gym, work etc. I am wearing a 30E bra, the size suits my figure and the shape is very natural. I am so so happy with my new boobs and really cannot recommend this man enough! Thank you Mr Lam! Female 24 Sheffield
