I couldn’t recommend Mr Chatham more. He is a very reassuring doctor. Cheers you up when you are nervous. Very understanding and very gentle. I’m very glad he performed my carpel tunnel surgery and would be happy for him to operate on me in the future if needed.

I was suffering sypmtoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome for about two years and due to lockdown I was unable to see a Doctor ay my local practice until called for my annual review and explain my symptons to her in February 2022. The receptionist refused to make an appointment face to face So I had a telephone consultaion But eventually saw a Doctor in March 2022who sai he would refer me to the Hospital. In the pat this has taken a few weeks and the Local hospital would contact me to offer me an appointment but the system had changed. So I eventually got a letter from NHS saying I had not made an appointment so I failed on line but manage to arrange an appointment with Mr Chauhan on 4th April at Southend Private Hospital for an assessment of my condition and he stated after thorough examination I needed an operation which he carried out on Friday 22nd July 2022. I couldn't fault the service I had received from him and the hospital staff who were all very efficient and helpful and pleasant at all times The Hospital was spotlessly clean and sensitive to Covid with masks and sanitiser. On the whole it was very impressive
