I had an appointment with Andrew Carrothers today post my left Hip operation just 5 weeks ago. My recovery has been nothing short of amazing for me and I feel that I am 2 to 3 weeks ahead in my recovery compared to my right Hip operation.
All of my journey after being referred to Andrew has been as good as it could be and I must include in this a thank you to Carol Morse, Andrew's aide de camp.
I have recommended Carrothers Orthopedics to my 86 year old Mother knowing she will be in good hands.

Andrew Carrothers is an exceptional surgeon. He met my 86 year old mother who was in extreme pain and immobility with serious damage to a previously resurfaced hip. She also suffers from dementia which is an added complication. He was very reassuring and kind but also extremely determined to help her as quickly as possible. He carried out a complex hip replacement with in a week and she has made a remarkably good recovery to full mobility. I would also like to add that he has a very efficient and compassionate secretary that eases the journey.

Mr Carrothers is a charming, courteous and caring individual who most certainly knows his stuff. From the outset he was able to diagnose a problem I had for many years and offer a great resolve. I can’t praise him enough.

At my first meeting with Mr. Carrothers I was put completely at ease and was very impressed with his gentle, caring manner.
My total hip replacement operation went ahead during the Coronavirus shutdown and at no time did I feel anxious.
The operation was a great success and I was walking, without crutches, after two weeks. Mr Carrothers' expertise is second to none and I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing orthopaedic surgery.
I am due to have the other hip operated on in three months time and I have no hesitation in trusting him to carry out an equally outstanding repair.
My great thanks to him and his team.
