What can I say? I feel so very lucky that Mr Carrothers became my surgeon. Within six months he replaced my left knee and my right hip and my life has been transformed. He is so very polite, patient and willing to explain all concerns. Above all, of course, he is a total professional. Thankyou Sir. Gordon McGowan

I was recommended to Mr Carrothers by my sister, who had also had a hip replacement performed by him two years earlier. She said he was a lovely man and that I would like him a lot and she wasn't wrong. When I went for my first appt he really reassured me and said he would operate within 4 - 6 weeks, in fact he saw me within 3 weeks! My whole experience from having my operation and all the aftercare I received I cant rate highly enough. Every evening while I was in hospital Mr Carrothers would come in to check on my progress and see how I was. My husband requires a knee operation and is hoping to see Mr Carrothers also. I would definitely see Mr Carrothers again if I was to need any further surgery.

I cannot fault him! I saw him twice as an NHS patient, and have been a private patient ever since and his manor, care, and concern for my issue has not changed at all. He has ensured that I get the greatest care possible, explains all of his finding in great detail, but in a way I would understand (as I don't have a medical degree!). I will recommend him to anyone I know who requires treatment in his specialty of hip/knee/pelvis. He is always very positive and gives the answers to any questions I may have directly.

Mr Carrothers listens, understands and explains in full detail at every appointment. It is never rushed and he ensures that you leave with all the information to make you feel confident that the goals can be achieved with expectations and next steps set and met. I am back skiing and long distance bike biking all thanks to Mr Carrothers
