Cathy McGuinness is an amazing Vascular Consultant. She is a very professional, highly qualified, competent and caring Surgeon. From my initial appointment , procedure and follow up appointments she has communicated and re-assured me throughout my treatment. The Radiologist who worked with Cathy was also exceptional. I would highly recommend Cathy McGuinness to anyone with Vascular problems. I would not see anyone else but her.

Miss McGuinness did everything possible to put me, her patient, at ease whilst offering a very professional and reassuring consultation. This was echoed by the lady who performed my ultrasound scan. My appointment occurred during the Coronavirus pandemic. I was very impressed with the attention given to safe hygienic practice. I have been offered a telephone follow up to check that things are going in the right direction.

This doctor is very caring and trustworthy. Be prepared if you do not have a general anaesthetic the injections are rather painful. Now it is all over I am glad I did not have to recover from the general anaesthetic and stay in hospital longer.

I have to say that Cathy has been amazing.This has been so much a easy process despite whilst going through this pandemic. From the word go Cathy has bee super professional and informative. She explained the process fully so there were no surprises.During surgery she was caring and sensative.I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
