I've been seeing cardiologists for my heart condition for about 20 years now and decided it was time for a change. After some research I thought Dr Astroulakis looked the most qualified and, being a woman, would have had to have worked much harder than any of the men to get to where she is. My first appointment with Dr Astroulakis was a telephone appointment and I was overwhelmed with her interest and efficiency. She called me twice in one day and, in between 'phone calls, she pulled together all my previous history and information on my condition. I met her for the first time last week and she is just as committed, caring, listened to everything I had to say, examined me thoroughly and gave me more attention than I've ever had before. I would highly recommend her as she's obviously on top of her game.

Dr Astroulakis was very thorough in her diagnostics -very sensitive and reassuring in explaining the procedures and outcomes She has a very positive demeanour which is encouraging.

Doctor Astroulakis is a rare combination of being very professional but at the same time very personable and easy to talk to. She really listens to what you have to say, shows empathy and a real drive to reach a diagnosis.

Dr Astroulakis is a highly competent and caring consultant, who listens well and communicates clearly. She gives equal attention to any supplementary questions which she treats with the same, patient, sensitivity. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Dr Astroulakis is the most personable doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She put me at ease immediately, was warm and kind, and extremely knowledgeable and clear in her communication. I have seen several cardiology consultants in the past who have used confusing medical terminology, which has left me asking questions / resorting to Google to unpick what they've told me. Not the case with Dr Astroulakis. I would highly recommend her.
