Dr Usha Prasad

I saw Dr. Prasad for an annual review relating to a heart murmur/faulty valve issue. It is an ongoing condition that was diagnosed about 10 years ago, so, this was not my first review of this type. Previous reviews had been “how do you feel? Do you smoke? How much do you drink?” End of. Dr Prasad asked those questions, but obliquely, they were not the main focus. She discussed my condition, she listened and put forward a concrete plan, which may involve surgery. She conducted the best and most thorough review my condition has ever received at Scarborough General Hospital.

Saw Dr Prasad today and she was by far the best cardio consultant i have see she was great at explaining things and listening to my concerns and setting up a plan going forward

Friendly and very professional. I felt very much at ease . With Everything being explained to me with a plan of action put in place going forward . I left feeling very reassured . Very happy with the outcome come of my appointment.

I met with Dr Prasad on Tuesday 18th November 2025, following various tests being carried prior to our meeting. Dr Prasad explained the results of the tests and what options there were regarding further treatment. Her manner was very professional and instructive whilst also being informative such that I could understand my options. Following her advice, I was able to agree with her reccommendations and am confident that the propsed actions will help improve my health.

Visited on Sunday absolutely great care was given very nice and polite take as much time as needed and explained everything clearly excellent thank you very much.

I was contacted on Friday 31st October after waiting for my referral since January 2025. I was offered an appointment on Saturday 1st Nov. I arrived 30 minutes early however was seen straight away by a nurse who took my details, and preliminary checks. I was then seen by Dr Prasad who was warm and welcoming from the start. She asked relevant questions, gave me advice as to what I could change to help me. Checked my medication and altered it to suit me. The whole time I felt that I was being treated with kindness and professionalism and she explained things in enough detail that I understood. Thank you Dr Prasad, I left feeling much happier that there is nothing sinister to worry about and I will be invited for some further tests that I know I won't worry about as much now.

I had angigram at Scarborough hospital today, Dr Usha Prasad was very kind ..looked after me even when I didn't feel well. Many thanks to Dr Usha Prasad and her team ..many thanks ❤️

I’ve only seen this doctor once but she was very helpful and went through everything and explained my symptoms there was no rush

Dr Prashad and her team were very pleasant and I was see to promptly. All was very professional
