Dr Kelly is the best doctor I have seen as a diabetic at Southend. I have been a diabetic for 38 years and have been attending the diabetic clinic at Southend for at least 20 years, in that time it is very rare to see the same doctor in clinic. Since seeing Dr Kellly, I see him everytime I go to clinic, I have found he is a vey understanding person and treats me as a PERSON with an illness, I actually feel comfortable going to clinic now . I feel Dr Kelly listens and my diabetes is now much better controlled . A great doctor and I feel very disappointed that Southend is considering cutting his clinic.

Attentive and clear communication. Considerate of Patients needs. Endocrinology an obvious speciality and comfortable with him - experience of many others previously, up there with the best. Only problem was the waiting time.

Dr Kelly is a brilliant Dr he listens to his patients concerns, he advises them giving them the facts as graphs and explaining to the patient what they need to do to improve their health.

Dr Kelly is one of the most thorough and intelectual doctors I have ever worked with. He is a great mentor and has taught me more in the last year than all other doctors in the hospital combined. He is a passionate advocate of patient care and safety and an integral member of the acute medical team.
